After interviewing Al Gore personally, I became a qualified leadership trainer for the Climate Reality Project, a global community of change-makers working for just climate solutions.  I have given dozens of presentations in person and online to college and high school students as well as faith organizations. 
I was the initiator for the establishment of the Sustainable Future Committee at the Directors Guild of America, where I have served on the National Board and as Chairperson of Special Projects that serves our 19,000 members with educational, cultural, and technological events.
As an elected Faculty Council Member of the University of Southern California I started the environmental movement at the University which now has expanded to being one of its main concerns.  Having been chair of the first sustainability committee, I am currently a member of the Presidential Working Group on Sustainability in Education, Research, and Operations.
As a Facilitator for Bill McKibben's Third Act, I have participated in the design of this organization concerned with motivating over sixties to become active in confronting global warming and the consequences of climate change.
And as a filmmaker I have made videos for BIONEERS and
an award-winning movie for TREEPEOPLE called: 
Water and the City
On a personal level, I drive an electric car, bike, am  a pescatarian, have solar on our home, and swim in the ocean.
A pelican trapped by fishing wires so it couldn’t move and I was able to free it from the snares.
